The year 2018 was marked by new projects with leading financial institutions in Latin America and by the consolidation of our multichannel notification technology across different markets in the region.
This article highlights the main corporate milestones of Latinia throughout 2018, including new agreements with banks such as Banco Agrícola and Afirme, our participation in fintech innovation initiatives, and various projects promoted by the company in areas such as technology and sports.
Banco Agrícola entrusts its financial notification strategy to Latinia
Banco Agrícola selected Latinia’s technology to strengthen its multichannel financial notification strategy, adopting our software as the foundation to manage real time communications with its customers.
“At Banco Agrícola we continue to innovate for our customers. We are very excited to start working with Latinia, a global reference and leader in its product category, to refocus our multichannel notification strategy,” explained Claudio Góchez, Head of Channel Strategy at Banco Agrícola.
Banco Agrícola, the largest bank in El Salvador and part of Grupo Bancolombia, entered into this partnership with the aim of reinforcing the reliability of its notification channels and anticipating new communication needs with its customers.
“We are proud to welcome Banco Agrícola to our client portfolio and we appreciate the trust they have placed in our technologies,” said Daniel Aguilar, Vice President of Sales at Latinia.
With this project, Latinia continued to strengthen its activity in the region, where it already works with multiple financial institutions and manages billions of notifications each year through its technology platform.
Afirme competes with major banks with Latinia’s support
Latinia added Mexican bank Afirme to its client portfolio in Latin America, strengthening our presence in the Mexican market alongside institutions such as Banorte, Santander, and Bancoppel.
“Meeting and exceeding our customers’ expectations is our main goal, and what better way to achieve this than by analyzing and working with their financial context through a powerful channel such as notifications to deliver excellence in customer experience,” explained José Sobrevia, Executive Director of Products and Services at Afirme.
For this project, Latinia provided Afirme with its LIMSP© suite, including the Alert Engine and the SDP 360º notification delivery platform, enabling the bank to analyze financial events in real time and turn them into relevant communications for customers.
Daniel Aguilar, Executive Vice President of Sales for Latin America at Latinia, also highlighted the incorporation of Next Best Action (NBA) capabilities into the bank’s notification strategy, aimed at adding contextual intelligence to each message and enhancing the overall customer service experience.

We also had the opportunity to celebrate our décimo aniversario como patrocinador del evento, consolidating a continued presence in this key forum for the Latin American financial industry.
“For us, this edition represents an important milestone, doubly celebrated this year as it takes place in Colombia, a country where we maintain strong activity both as a commercial hub and as a software factory,” said Francesc Pérez, Head of Business at Latinia.
During the event, we presented our latest developments in contextual financial notifications, based on Next Best Action suggestions, aimed at improving the relevance of messages sent by financial institutions and strengthening the customer service experience.
